Wednesday 11^th January: Day 4

Ok... so I’m still here.

And you, Lord are smiling.

You’re smiling because you are so pleased I am still here.

And that blows my mind.

It’s hard for me to understand how you hang around waiting for me to come to you.

Yet you do.

You wait.

And I come.

Hesitantly

Eagerly

Reluctantly

Unsure

Ecstatic

Completely at sea

searching...

And you’re there.

Here.

Now.

Whatever this day holds,

Help me to know that this tiny space,

This space with you

With my God,

Re-shapes my day.

And me.

Change me for the better.
