Wednesday 18^th January: Day 11

I’m not ready yet to move away from yesterday’s thought.

I want us to ponder again the notion of just how much God values us.

I could write screeds about the subject -

Attempt a sermon or 6!

Instead I offer a prayer and a link to a song...

Lord Jesus

Son of God

You came from the heavens

to the streets of this earth.

You gave up a throne for a cattle stall,

A Kingdom for this imperfect world.

Your own life you willingly set aside

for the sake of the whole human race...

For me.

What can I say?

What can I say....

“Thank you” feels like a whisper in the teeth of a gale –

So inadequate.

But it’s said sincerely.

From the bottom of my heart.
